This is an animated New Year Countdown, but it is also a fully configurable countdown to any event you like. When in "New Year's Mode" this application counts down the days, hours, minutes and seconds to the next January First. An important distinction is that it will work every year into the future automatically it is not set to a specific January 1st. On January 1st the New Year is welcomed in and then the countdown begins again on January 2nd. In addition to the countdown screen there is a resolution tracker where you can enter your resolutions and track your progress. Dock your iPhone or iPod Touch into your sound system, play music (from the ipod player, not the app) then launch the countdown and let the music continue to play in the background while the countdown displays. - Enter your resolutions on this list. Track your progress, the list expands as you enter data and you can scroll up and down the list as needed. - During the countdowns confetti falls across the screen. The individual pieces turn and float side to side as they fall. The countdown labels continuously alternate between red white and blue.
